Publish Time: 2025-08-14     Origin: Site

Wan Hai Shipping's original Red Sea AR2 route has been comprehensively upgraded to the new FM1 service, now connecting directly to Mediterranean ports! This enhancement expands and optimizes the existing port coverage of the original Red Sea route.

The original route called at: Jeddah, Saudi Arabia (SAJED); Sokhna, Egypt (EGSOK); Aqaba, Jordan (JOAQJ); and other ports, establishing a solid bridge for regional trade.

The upgraded FM1 route now traverses the Suez Canal, powerfully opening a golden waterway to the Mediterranean with new direct calls at: Alexandria, Egypt (a key North African gateway closely linking Egypt with broader African markets); Izmit, Turkey (the industrial heartland radiating Black Sea trade); and Istanbul, Turkey (a strategic Eurasian hub significantly improving intermodal efficiency).

The inaugural voyage of Shanghai's upgraded FM1 service will debut on September 12!
