A few days ago, THE Alliance, consisting of Hapag-Lloyd, ONE, Yang Ming Shipping and HMM, decided to revises rotations of Transpacific service starting from August.

Hapag-Lloyd said in a statement that the adjustment was due to continued port congestion in the Northwest region of North America, resulting in increased ship delays.

The revises apply to Pacific North Loop 2 (PN2) and Pacific North Loop 3 (PN3) from Weeks 33 to 37.

Specific revises include:

- PN2 service, starting from the voyage performed by "YM TipTop", after departing from Singapore, the port of Vancouver, Canada will be suspended, and the port of Shanghai, China will be increased.

Hapag-Lloyd explained that the temporary increase in the port of call in Shanghai is to provide customers with more choices.

As an alternative, during the above adjustment period, THE Alliance's PN3 and PN4 services will provide freight services to and from Vancouver.

- PN3 service, starting from the voyage performed by the "Seaspan Beacon", after departing from Hong Kong, the call at Tacoma, the United States will be suspended. Customers can choose between PN2 and PN4 services for shipping from Tacoma.

- Westbound calls in Tokyo and Kobe, Japan will be transferred from PN2 service to PN3 service.
